About the role

This role involves significant fieldwork, with up to 80% travel across Australia and New Zealand, and occasional travel to Southeast Asia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Application Specialist to provide sales support, customer support, clinical training, and clinical testing across Vision RT’s full product portfolio within a broader Radiation Oncology environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support

  • Support the ANZ Sales Manager by presenting Vision RT products to prospective customers
  • Act as a product specialist, supporting radiotherapy partners including Elekta, Varian, Siemens, Philips, GE, and Canon
  • Assist with on‑site product demonstrations and exhibitions

Customer & Clinical Support

  • Provide on‑site, telephone, and remote clinical support for Vision RT customers
  • Work closely with existing customers to support clinical utilisation of Vision RT products
  • Provide phone support to customers and internal colleagues on clinical operation of Vision RT systems

Clinical Training

  • Deliver structured clinical training (Phases 1–4) at designated training centres, customer sites, and remotely
  • Proactively organise and schedule training sessions to meet training delivery KPIs
  • Coordinate or lead customer and employee training classes
  • Deliver group presentations at seminars, training programs, and trade shows
  • Contribute to the creation of clinical training materials, including workflows, user guides, and e‑learning content

Clinical Testing & Product Development

  • Support clinical testing of new software releases across multiple clinical scenarios
  • Provide detailed feedback and analysis on new functionality to R&D teams
  • Liaise closely with R&D to provide product feedback and recommendations for future improvements
  • Assist with the creation, tracking, and delivery of Customer Information Bulletins (CIBs)

Regional & International Support

  • Support distributors and commercial partners in EMEA on specific occasions
  • Provide backup clinical support to other regions as required
  • Undertake international travel in line with business needs

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Background working in Radiotherapy
  • AlignRT experience
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, particularly Medical Physics and Radiation Oncology teams
  • Strong results orientation with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross‑functional team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer‑facing, presentation, and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Windows applications

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Previous commercial experience within Medical Technology
  • Demonstrated delivery against strategic goals and objectives
  • Strong knowledge of the ANZ Radiation Therapy and SGRT market
