ABOUT THE TEAM
As a member of the UnzerOne Dashboard team, you will play a pivotal role by supporting the UnzerOne Dashboard and SmartPOS teams, particularly those dedicated to UnzerOne Dashboard and their interaction with e-commerce transactions and SmartPOS devices, focusing on elevating service quality and ensuring seamless functionality. #OneUnzer
The agile and cross-functional teams consist of experienced software developers and a product manager. We value cooperation and self-organization and work together to give shape to the central part of the UnzerOne Dashboard Platform.
Our technology stack includes:
- VueJS with Typescript
- Keycloak
- PostgreSQL
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Docker and Google Cloud Platform
- Git(Hub), Argo CD

What your work will look like:
- Lead and empower a team of senior software developers, guiding them toward technical and delivery excellence.
- Remain hands-on when needed, contributing to the codebase, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting the team with your technical expertise.
- Take responsibility for developing, enhancing, and operating our Node. JS-based services running in Google Cloud Platform.
- Foster effective collaboration between engineering teams, product management, and occasional business stakeholders.
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle—from design and implementation to maintenance, operations, and documentation.
- Support your team in shaping technical concepts, architecture decisions, and roadmap discussions.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, mentorship, and professional growth within the team.
- Ensure that engineering decisions align with the long-term vision and technical strategy of the UnzerOne platform.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- 3+ years of experience in software development (Node.js, TypeScript, or related ecosystem).
- 2+ years in a leadership role such as Engineering Manager, Team Lead, or similar—demonstrating strong people leadership skills.
- Proven ability to mentor, guide, and empower engineering teams.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to understand architecture, system design, and long-term platform goals.
- Strong expertise in the Node.js backend ecosystem and familiarity with modern frontend technologies (ideally Vue.js + TypeScript).
- Experience with cloud-based, containerized environments (Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP) is a plus.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
