Our offices
We are based across Austria, Denmark, Germany and Luxembourg with a HQ in Berlin.
What your work will look like:
- Be the local expert and support the teams/people in risk related matters.
- Ensuring the operational risk framework is implemented and integrated across Unzer entities in accordance with the relevant regulations (EBA, CSSF, MaRisk, DFSA) and if needed/applicable, other (EU) regulations.
- Ensuring gaps are identified as well as offering solutions/changes/preventives measures.
- Continually assess the framework and propose changes to meet regulatory, risk and control requirements.
- Further development and maintaining Unzer policy, guidelines etc.
- Support in carrying out risk analyses and reviewing the (existing) control.
- Preparation and support of the internal and external audits and other (regulatory) audits.
- Implementation and monitoring of training and risk awareness programs.
- Supporting the Group Risk Control functions with various projects, tasks, and/or other enterprise risk/risk control related activities.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements around Enterprise Risk (operational and/or financial risk)
- Knowledge of internal control and (financial) risk management frameworks with strong understanding of payment/financial services business operations and/or acquiring business operations (pre).
- Understanding of European regulations (e.g. German, Luxembourg, Danish)
- 3+ years of experience within enterprise risk, risk control, risk management, audit, consulting.
- The skill set to interpret regulations, present conclusions and plans in both oral an in writing to various stakeholders.
- Languages: working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English, German, Danish.
