Our aim in Pre-Sales Solutions is to provide the value and insight that facilitates successful outcomes for our prospects, customers and partners to achieve their local customer engagement & acquisition objectives.

As a Pre-Sales Technical Lead, EMEA (m/f/d) you will be working with your colleagues in the Enterprise, Partnership Sales and Success teams. Your role is to provide technical understanding and solutions for discovery and development of opportunities. Ultimately helping them to find the answers for customers that create the solutions they need to deliver class leading local Near Me Marketing experiences from our Local CX Platform..

With an understanding of the world of SaaS and state-of-the-art Website technologies, API integration and information architecture gained from working in a technical SaaS sales or pre-sales environment, you will be directly responsible for the technical discovery practices, workaround and technical architecture responses in pitches, renewals and RFP/I’s. 

You will use your knowledge and skills to develop and articulate the technical solutions that work across 1st, 2nd and 3rd Party customer environments for all Direct Enterprise, Mid-Market and Partnerships prospects and customers.

Your Responsibilities

    • Delivery of pre-sales technical support and solution architecture across two pre-sales teams (Direct and Partner), ensuring that the Pre-Sales technical discovery function is fully utilised across the EMEA Customer Org teams.
    • Providing high level, strategic advice and direction for all opportunities where required. 
    • Develop and maintain a successful pre-sales technical discovery process.
    • Leading the technical pre-sales function in large new business pitches and renewals
    • Form relationships with the relevant Technical leaders of the prospect and customer, understanding the infrastructure of their existing technical and digital marketing environments in order to help the customer build a business case justifying their investment in Uberall solutions.
    • Using your technical and digital marketing business knowledge, you can guide the customers’ strategic thinking and introduce new technical initiatives for digital marketing.
    • Multi-faceted problem solving, based on scenarios and use cases from prospects which may include investigating custom product requests, discovering product workarounds and alternative approaches/solutions, API & information architecture discovery, competitor analysis/marketing & data value analysis, creation of pilots (POC’s) and new product demonstrations 
    • Overseeing and managing all RFP documentation response & internal stakeholder management - Working with Engineering, Legal and DPO to provide clarity for response responsibilities, cross team management and document fulfilment 
    • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
    • Maintain excellent internal relationships with key stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, BIS, Operations and Success teams
    • Support senior Pre-Sales Solutions colleagues to develop strategic and operational processes and practices, ensuring Uberall Solution Engineering teams are working at the highest optimal levels of professional excellence. 
    • When required, represent the Uberall brand and solutions at marketing events and seminars
    • Where relevant, you will also work with other Uberall teams and your Solution Engineering colleagues from various global territories to support them in existing and new opportunities

Your Profile

    • 5+ years of relevant experience in Technical Sales, Search or Solution (Sales) Engineering roles
    • You are a graduate, ideally with a degree in business, marketing, or technical discipline
    • You are comfortable presenting to C-Level audiences
    • Whilst not needing to be a technical expert, you have a solid understanding of technology and how SaaS solutions like Uberall’s are designed, delivered and supported. 
    • Furthermore, you are not scared of working with SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
    • You have a strong understanding of digital marketing, SEM, SEO, Local Search and GMB, developed via roles working on developing digital strategies for a brand in-house, or at an agency, or whilst working as a supplier of other digital marketing technologies
    • You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously to find solutions to complex problems
    • Fluent in German and English. 
    • Additional language (French/Spanish/Polish/Swedish/Danish) is a plus
