Tuum is a next-generation banking platform. We enable fintech and banks to rapidly offer seamless and tailored financial services to their customers. Our core banking platform is revolutionising the financial services industry. The platform is API-based, consisting of flexible and independent modules covering all retail and business banking capabilities for quick and easy integration.
Launched in 2019, Tuum is headquartered in Tallinn and is backed by investors including Citibank, BlackFin Capital Partners, Karma Ventures, Portage Ventures, SpeedInvest, and CommerzVentures.
Tuum’s internship program provides an introduction to our Product team and the work they are doing there. As an intern in Tuum’s Product team, you'll experience the engineering profession from a real-world perspective. You’ll get in-depth exposure to the engineering profession and learn more about the day-to-day responsibilities of a software engineer. You’ll receive guidance and work closely with experienced software engineers. You will receive information, advice, and timely, constructive feedback on your performance.
The start date for this two-month internship will be in Summer 2026 between June and September. The internship is paid EUR 1000 gross / month. After we have received your CV, we will send you a skill test to complete, followed by interviews. The application deadline is 31 March 2026. The skill test will be sent out during the first week of April, and interviews will happen mid / end of April.
What you'll be doing
- During your internship, you’ll sharpen your coding skills as you will work on exciting software development projects, producing specifications and writing the code for our product. You’ll learn how to write automated unit tests, integration tests, etc., as well as manage and debug deployments from testing environments all the way to production. You’ll work with other team members and dive deep into banking and its business logic.

Our expectations
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong academic track record
- Some experience with programming in Java or JavaScript
- Attention to detail and a passion for writing clean, readable, properly tested code
- Some full-stack engineering knowledge or a willingness to learn
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
