We are looking for a professional Business Development Manager to join our Commercial team. As a Business Development Manager you will be generating high-quality Leads and identify prospect opportunity accounts.
What you'll be doing
- Engage with prospects and clients to understand business and organisation challenges and struggles
- Generate high-value sales pipeline through both strategic and targeted prospecting into commercial or enterprise accounts
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop a list of target prospects
- Align with account-based marketing to develop in/outbound strategies
- Develop and run a pipeline of potential prospect accounts
- Develop Leads from target list of ICPs
- Research and identify qualified targets
- Engage prospects and deliver insight
- Qualify target lead based on assessed client impact
- Maintain CRM hygiene and record all sales activity
- Build and refine the Tuum Sales Process and Playbook
- Assist Marketing in vetting in-bound MQLs for follow-up
- Qualify and develop partner led Opportunities
Our expectations
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in sales role in fintech or related industries (experience in core banking would be a huge bonus)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to network and build relationships effectively
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Driven by targets and motivated by success, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Ability to effectively network and build relationships in industry-specific settings
