As a Software Platform Engineer, you will work on platforms to enable 2000 engineers to work effectively. You will create a connected experience and platform to support all activities in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). 

What you’ll do:

    • Creating tools to simplify and automate complex workflows 
    • Managing and maintaining CI/CD environments  
    • Developing and maintaining custom software solutions based on company challenges 
    • Improve the observability with the tools for logging, monitoring, and alerting 

What you will need:

    • Strong hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms (VMWare, Azure, AWS etc.) 
    • Experience in cloud-native infrastructure, including Kubernetes on public cloud platforms (AKS and/or EKS) and related technologies and tooling for cloud runtime platforms and end-to-end delivery (packaging, service mesh, ingress, identity, and access management). 
    • Experience with software development (Python, Go, TypeScript, Bash) 
    • Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD/Flux) and accelerating application delivery 
    • Experience with monitoring tools such as (Prometheus, Grafana) 
    • Experience with SecOps and GitOps practices 
    • Experience with SRE best practices 
    • Cloud-native architecture, technology, engineering, and operations (CNCF)  
    • Security, privacy, and compliance essentials 

General skills and experience

    • Experience on working in production-grade platform related teams (Cloud, Infrastructure, SRE)  
    • Extensive experience in high-availability solutions (99.9 availability and reliability) 
    • Experience on building and operating mission critical systems. 
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills  
    • MSc in computer engineering or equivalent desirable 

Nice to have:

    • Software-defined operating models and technologies, including IaaS, CaaS, and PaaS  
    • Software architecture fundamentals 
    • GitHub actions
