What you'll do
- Design, develop, and implement predictive models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to uncover patterns and trends within structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and formulate data-driven solutions that drive innovation and optimize performance.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis, including data cleansing, feature engineering, and model evaluation, to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.
- Apply advanced machine learning techniques, such as deep learning, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning, to develop state-of-the-art models.
- Work with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks to process and analyze large-scale datasets efficiently.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and proactively apply new techniques to enhance existing methodologies.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s/Masters/PHD in Computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent field
- 5+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist, ideally at a product-focused software company
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets and applying predictive analytics
- Good knowledge of statistics and experiment design
- Strong expertise in programming languages such as Python, (Java recommended) along with experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn and SQL.
- Solid understanding of deep learning architectures and their applications
- Reporting and dashboarding tools (e.g. PowerBI)
- Experience working with technologies for large-scale data collection and data processing (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Hive)
- Familiarity with Azure technologies (e.g. Power BI, Databricks)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
