Our team is responsible for building tools and applications, as well as processes aimed at delivering data to our maps. Our engagement encompasses sourcing the data, transforming it, improving quality, managing application environments, and supervising them on a daily basis

What you'll do:

    • You will contribute to the development of tools that facilitate data fetching and its management.
    • You will participate in activities related to application supervision and maintenance.
    • You will explore and research further extensions or identify gaps in existing processes.
    • You will solve engineering problems using existing solutions.
    • You will identify risks and performance issues in existing applications and support efforts to eliminate them.
    • You will contribute to creating documentation for existing solutions.

What you'll need:

    • You are a student in IT/Computer Science/Engineering/Programming or related courses;
    • You are an EU citizen or are enrolled in a Polish University during the entire duration of the internship (at least 6 months starting January/February)
    • Willing to commute to our TomTom office in Lodz at least once a week
    • You have knowledge of coding in Java; a basic understanding of Scala is a plus.
    • You have a solid background in CI/CD processes.
    • You have basic knowledge of public cloud platforms.
    • You have familiarity with tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
    • Comfortable with written and verbal communication in English;
    • You have an analytical mindset and enthusiasm to solve complex problems
    • Desire to learn and expand your skillsets.
    • You have good communication skills and enjoy teamwork.
