· 10+ years of experience in Software Development preferably in Data Engineering/Analytics.
· Strong English written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment
· Proficiency in Scala or Python
· Strong knowledge in Modern Big Data Architecture and Technologies and Experience supporting technologies like Spark, Hive, Hbase and Databricks.
· Strong working experience in DevOps environment, and passion for CI/CD tools, and Azure cloud computing.
· Knowledge of SQL databases and NoSQL databases.
· Makes meaningful contributions to their team's architecture and design, leading the design for their area of focus. Actively participates in design reviews of related software outside their team. Makes technical and design approach trade-off decisions.
· Able to resolve complex engineering problems, Identify risks and roadblocks, improvement areas and guide team.
· Strive for providing solutions of high quality (e.g., logical, testable, maintainable, efficient, documented). Provides insightful code reviews and takes ownership of the outcome.
· Shows the leadership and accountability within team for ongoing activities.
· Good at stakeholder management: Advises peers, manager, Program Managers, Product Managers, and Sr. Manager.
· The ability to drive issues to resolution through communication, collaboration, and high-quality code
· Strong understanding of industry technology (analytics, monitoring, code deployment, system scalability, load balancers, web servers)
· Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, to implement a shared vision of the product.
· Eagerness to learn a lot of new things and continuously improve your skills, open mind for discussion.
