The impact you'll make
- Collecting large amounts of unruly (spatial) data and transforming it into a more usable format.
- Solve business-related problems using data-driven techniques.
- Work continuously with python and spark in the Azure cloud.
- Staying on top of analytical techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and text analytics.
- Identify patterns in data, as well as spotting trends that can help improving the business’s bottom line.
- Communicating and collaborating with both Software Engineering and with the Maps Operations Team globally
- Share and present your data analysis insights to key decision maker to enable them to achieve company strategy.
- Work in a hybrid and flexible way that will allow you find the perfect work life balance
What you'll need
- University Degree in computer science, Mathematics, statistic or similar.
- 3+ year experience as Data Scientist
- Experience with Microsoft cloud computing: Azure & Databricks
- Programming experience with Python and SQL
- Fair statistical knowledge.
- Experience in slicing and dicing of large data sets to draw insights.
- Experience creating Mathematical models, algorithms, prediction models using Machine Learning.
- Experience with data visualization (storytelling)
- Fluent English
What is nice to have
- Experience with PySpark
- Previous Experience with Spatial Data
