Job Overview: 
The Senior Account Executive is a critical role responsible for managing and expanding TomTom’s strategic relationship with Microsoft. This individual will leverage an extensive network within Microsoft to drive growth, deepen the partnership, and deliver value through TomTom’s cutting-edge solutions. Reporting to the VP of AMER, the Senior Account Executive will collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with Microsoft’s needs and strategic goals. 

What you'll do

    • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Microsoft, managing the day-to-day relationship and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. 
    • Strategic Partnership: Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy that aligns with both TomTom’s and Microsoft’s business objectives, driving mutual growth and success. 
    • Network Utilization:Leverage an extensive existing network within Microsoft to identify key stakeholders, influence decision-making, and expand TomTom’s footprint within the account. 
    • Sales Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities within Microsoft, including upselling and cross-selling TomTom’s products and services. 
    • Collaboration: Work closely with TomTom’s product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure that Microsoft’s needs are met, and that TomTom’s offerings are positioned effectively. 
    • Contract Negotiation: Lead complex contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for TomTom while maintaining a strong partnership with Microsoft. 
    • Reporting and Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and account updates to the VP of AMER, enabling data-driven decisions. 
    • Customer Advocacy: Act as an advocate for Microsoft within TomTom, ensuring that their feedback and requirements are communicated and addressed by internal teams. 

What you'll have

    • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in enterprise sales or account management, with a proven track record of success managing large, complex accounts in the technology sector.Experience in location-based services, data platforms, or SaaS businesses is strongly preferred. 
    • Network: Extensive network within Microsoft, with established relationships across key departments and decision-making levels. 
    • Proven Track Record:Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, managing large enterprise accounts, and developing strategic partnerships. 
    • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute a successful account strategy. 
    • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization. 
    • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of enterprise customer needs, particularly within the technology sector, and the ability to build lasting, trusted relationships. 
    • Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
