As an IT Infrastructure Support Intern, you will assist in the administration and monitoring of our IT infrastructure, which includes both on-premise and cloud-based services. You will work closely with various teams to learn and apply best practices in IT services across different platforms.
What you'll do
- Support the Managed-Infra team by implementing and documenting best practices.
- Assist in designing IT solutions and help with capacity planning for services and infrastructure.
- Participate in daily operational tasks, hardware and software support.
- Help improving IT service performance and remediating any issues.
What you'll need
- Strong understanding of Linux administration.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts.
- Experience with server/network hardware is a plus.
- Willingness to learn about various IT tools and technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to handle pressure and solve problems effectively
What you'll learn
- Gain hands-on experience with IT service management and monitoring techniques.
- Understand basic network concepts, including DNS, IPAM, and DHCP.
- Learn about cloud services, including Azure and AWS.
- Develop skills in scripting and automation tools.
- Get experience with vulnerability remediation practices.
