The impact you'll make
- Partner with sales to maximize pipeline and bookings.
- Become a trusted advisor to our customer, the ambassador of our product organization during the customer (buyer) journey.
- Define and position the right solution to meet the business needs, technical requirements and expectations of our automotive customers.
- Define our solution proposals in response to RFIs/RFQs/CRs.
- Continuously collaborate closely with customers to find additional value creation opportunities.
- Represent the voice of automotive customers and regional users to influence our product strategy and roadmap.
- Adapt our global go-to-market strategy and lead regional product marketing activities.
- Support sales & marketing activities by being a product evangelist.
- Drive customer satisfaction and help establish TomTom as the preferred supplier for location technology.
- Support our collaboration with business & integration partners.
What you'll need
- Japanese citizen or PR is a must.
- Requires 10+ years experience in B2B sales engineering, product management or program management in Automotive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the customer's native language (Japanese).
- Effectively communicates to internal stakeholders, customers and partners at senior levels on an independent basis.
- Strong presentation and demo skills in front of internal audiences and in customer meetings.
- Can discuss topics ranging from our company/brand vision to a specific product proposition.
- Demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders to take action and negotiate with partners/vendors/customers.
- Ability to lead productive conversations about difficult concepts and persuade others to adopt a different point of view.
- Experience leading and facilitating meetings with a focus on achieving the desired outcome.
- You will ideally be located in Greater Tokyo area.
