Customer Solution Manager
What You'll Do
Lead Technical Pre‑Sales Engagement
Own the technical conversation throughout the sales cycle, from discovery through to solution design and proposal.
Work alongside account executives to qualify opportunities and position the right solutions.
Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations and workshops tailored to customer use cases.
Translate Customer Needs into Solutions
Engage directly with customers to understand business challenges across geospatial, insuretech, defence, and logistics domains.
Design solution architectures that leverage geospatial data, APIs, and analytics to meet those needs.
Partner with internal solution architects and product teams to validate and refine approaches.
Act as the Bridge Between Sales and Product
Act as a connector between customer requirements and product capabilities.
Identify product gaps, articulate requirements clearly, and work with product teams to influence roadmap priorities.
Support the development of repeatable use cases and industry-specific solutions.
Drive Customer Confidence and Deal Progression
Build trust with technical and business stakeholders, ensuring customers are confident in the proposed solution.
Support proof-of-concepts, pilots, and technical validations to accelerate deal closure.
Stay engaged through the lifecycle to ensure continuity between pre‑sales and delivery.
What You'll Need
Core Capabilities
Strong background in geospatial technologies, GIS, and location data platforms.
Experience in a pre‑sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting role.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value narratives.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across sales, product and customer teams.
Domain Knowledge (one or more preferred)
Geospatial and spatial analytics
Insurance and risk modelling (Insuretech)
Defence / government intelligence use cases
Fleet, mobility, and logistics optimisation
Technical Skills
Experience with geospatial tools (e.g. GIS platforms, spatial databases, APIs).
Understanding of cloud architecture and data integration patterns.
Familiarity with analytics, AI/ML or data engineering concepts in a geospatial context is a strong advantage.
Ways of Working
Highly collaborative and comfortable working across regions and cultures (ANZ and Southeast Asia).
Commercially aware, with strong alignment to sales outcomes and revenue targets.
Proactive, structured, and able to navigate ambiguity in complex enterprise environments.
