Our Mission 🚀
Bud's mission is simple. We're here to create the world’s most compelling financial data products. The products we're building are used by some of the world's most prestigious institutions to help millions of their customers take control of their finances.
Your Mission👨🚀👩🚀
Your mission will be to identify and label key pieces of information seen in financial transactions.
Have you ever used banking apps which break down your spending into buckets or been unsure about a transaction and who you’ve actually made a spend with, or received money from? (Cue the internal panic)!
Bud’s aim is to identify key information in financial transactions such as merchants, names, dates, and locations while also categorising spending into areas like groceries, travel, or entertainment. This is super important as it gives people a clear picture on where their money is going and enables users to fully understand the merchants they interact. This helps people make informed decisions on how to save or spend differently and hopefully avoid any panic!
Where do you come in? 🏷
We’ll use the data that you label to train our model, so it's important you label transactions as accurately as possible - the better the data we get in, the better the model!
If this sounds complicated now, it will all become clear after the training day on Day 1. You'll be introduced to the labelling task, and the team will take you through the guidance available to help you as you labeller, and will also label alongside you. You’ll have a team around you with close-knit support and daily team stand-ups, so you’ll be in good hands to succeed from Day 1.
