Fraud and regulation are rising, costing the UK economy over £100bn every year; this makes it more difficult for businesses to protect themselves and their clients - individuals like you and me - from fraud and money laundering.

Our co-founders Olly and Jack were led to this area when a friend was defrauded of £25K when buying their first property. At the time, anti-fraud technology didn’t exist, which meant that completing the anti-fraud checks required in these processes was largely manual. These big life moments should be exciting, but instead are often confusing and scary due to the painful process of completing these paper-based checks and the risk of fraud.

Thirdfort helps businesses to facilitate these anti fraud checks so that individuals know they can transact safely and seamlessly with professionals during these big transactions. Our anti-fraud platform provides a secure way for professionals in regulated sectors like Lawyers, Estate Agents and Accountants to transfer funds and verify sensitive information through app based document checks, facial recognition and open banking.

Over 1,300 businesses now trust Thirdfort to verify their clients. We are FCA regulated and have raised over $25m in capital from leading Fintech investors Breega and Element Ventures, as well as the founders of Zoopla, Funding Circle, Comply Advantage, Tessian, Fenergo and Fidel.

The mission of the role is to develop a thorough understanding of how legal, professional services and financial services companies currently operate within Anti Money Laundering and Fraud Prevention regulations and help these companies to have a best in class, technology first solution. Our Sales team is committed to providing a valuable and consultative service to prospective clients in order to guide them to the best possible solution for their firm.

Reporting in to the Head of Sales you will be responsible for winning new business through a combination of opportunities that are booked for you by our excellent SDR team as well as being expected to find your own opportunities through networking and smart prospecting. You will be responsible for diligently and autonomously building your own pipeline as well as being part of a close-knit Sales team who enjoy solving problems together.
You will receive coaching from industry experts and will be at the forefront of a rapidly growing tech business with plans to grow in to new sectors and geographies in 2024.
We’re looking for an analytical problem solver who is passionate about helping our Clients solve complex business problems.

[Office presence required] For this role, we would love this person to be able to join us in our offices a couple of times a week as being together as a team is valuable for us but ultimately, we trust our team to decide what works best for them.

You will achieve your mission as our Account Executive by:

    • Consistently meeting and over achieving sales targets
    • Pro actively build your own pipeline of high value potential opportunities through a mixture of outbound prospecting and working collaboratively with our SDR team
    • Manage complex sales opportunities worth at least £20,000 with senior stakeholders at professional services firms
    • Act as a trusted industry advisor and be capable of understanding each prospective client’s business needs through your own research as well as thorough and ongoing discovery with senior stakeholders; guiding them through multiple demos and answering a variety of complex follow up questions
    • Follow the Thirdfort Values on a daily basis

You may be right for this role if you have/are:

    • At least 2 years experience in a New Business role with a successful track record of over performing against target
    • Experience selling to Law Firms and Financial Services
    • Experience working on deals with an annual value of at least £20,000
    • Experience selling a technology/SaaS product is desirable
    • Experience managing a pipeline of opportunities using Salesforce or comparable CRM
    • Experience working in a fast paced start up environment
    • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
    • A highly curious with a positive mindset
    • Highly articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills
    • A Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset with the attitude and skills to think of new ideas and new ways to position Thirdfort as the solution and market leader
