Product Marketing Manager
We're on a mission to protect society from fraud and money laundering. We've already protected over 3 million people through life's big transactions.
Fraud and regulation are rising, costing the UK economy over £100bn every year; this makes it more difficult for businesses to protect themselves and their clients - individuals like you and me - from fraud and money laundering.
Our co-founders Olly and Jack were led to this area when a friend was defrauded of £25K when buying their first property. At the time, anti-fraud technology didn't exist, which meant that completing the anti-fraud checks required in these processes was largely manual. These big life moments should be exciting, but instead are often confusing and scary due to the painful process of completing these paper-based checks and the risk of fraud.
Thirdfort helps businesses to facilitate these anti-fraud checks so that individuals know they can transact safely and seamlessly with professionals during these big transactions. Our anti-fraud platform provides a secure way for professionals in regulated sectors like Lawyers, Estate Agents and Accountants to transfer funds and verify sensitive information through app-based document checks, facial recognition and open banking.
Over 1,500 businesses now trust Thirdfort to verify their clients. We are FCA regulated and have raised over $33m in capital from leading Fintech investors Breega and Element Ventures, as well as the founders of Zoopla, Funding Circle, Comply Advantage, Tessian, Fenergo and Fidel.
The mission of the role:
We are looking for a naturally curious, creative, and highly collaborative Product Marketer to help us join the dots between our product and growth potential.
As a Product Marketing Manager at Thirdfort, you will be responsible for go-to-market strategies for our products, in partnership with the Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams. You will also play a key role in telling product stories and supporting commercial functions as we launch new products and enter new markets.
You’ll own positioning and messaging for your products, run the go-to-market plans, give our commercial teams the tools and confidence they need, and build fast feedback loops from customers, competitors, adoption data and live deals.
Reporting to our VP of Marketing, Mike you will work alongside fellow Product Marketing Manager, Anna.
Working pattern: UK-based and hybrid. We’d love you in our London or Manchester office regularly, because the team does its best work together in person. The rest of the time, work in the way that suits you best.
You will achieve your mission as as Product Marketing Manager by:
- Supporting the adoption and usage of Thirdfort’s products with clear messaging and tactics. You'll work cross-functionally to develop compelling, audience-specific messages, and drive alignment across our go-to-market strategy
- Being our clients' voice. Help generate client insights that inform product strategy, and work closely with the commercial and product teams to understand buying personas and gain a deep understanding of the Thirdfort customer journey
- Conducting research and analysis to gain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and our market position so we can make more effective and strategic decisions as a business.
- Working with Product and Marketing teams on product launches and updates, as well as various ways of communicating these effectively
- Translating messaging into presentations, one pagers, playbooks, business cases and other materials to help our commercial teams grow revenue
- Working with the wider team on customer case studies and related marketing activities
You may be right for this role if you:
- 5+ years hands-on product marketing experience in B2B SaaS or technology company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for storytelling.
- A proven track record of customer-centric marketing using both qualitative and quantitative research
- Curiosity. You are excited to learn about how things work and are able to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- A growth mindset. You will work across the entire product lifecycle from helping to shape the product, to driving launch, to growing product adoption.
- Have a point of view on what what AI agents can run in product marketing, and how you keep quality high.
“Studies show that women and other less represented groups are less likely to apply for roles unless they meet every requirement. We believe in building a diverse team, valuing different skills and experiences and so if you don’t think you have all the requirements listed here but feel this could be a role and environment you’d thrive in, we would still love for you to apply."
