We are on the lookout for a Principal Solution Architect!

As a Principal Solution Architect at Symphony, you will lead the design of scalable, high-performing systems while mentoring developers and promoting strong engineering practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive solutions, adopt innovative technologies, and help define the technical vision and architectural strategy that supports the company’s business goals.

What would be your responsibilities if you join us?

    • Lead the design and evolution of scalable, high-performing systems while applying strong performance, security, and optimization practices to ensure robust and efficient architectures.
    • Mentor and guide developers, encouraging growth and technical excellence, while also promoting clear communication and well-structured documentation across teams.
    • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, data scientists, product managers, and other partners to deliver cohesive solutions, while continually exploring new technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
    • Define, maintain, and champion coding standards and engineering best practices, shaping the overall technical vision and architectural strategy to support company goals.

There are some requirements that will make you stand out:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems.
    • Proven experience delivering large-scale, enterprise or distributed software solutions across multiple domains.
    • Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) including architecture, deployment, and optimization.
    • Strong understanding of software development principles, system integration, and modern architectures (microservices, event-driven, API-first, domain-driven).
    • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code for cloud automation.
    • Proficient in .NET, Java, Python, or other modern languages; experience with multiple languages is a plus.
    • Deep knowledge of security, performance, and scalability considerations in solution design.
    • Skilled at translating complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills with a focus on high-quality, maintainable solutions.
