We are on the lookout for a Principal Data Architect!
As a Principal Data Architect at Symphony, you will spearhead the development and implementation of data strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives while driving data governance, advanced analytics, and technology adoption. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, enhance data literacy, and promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
What would be your responsibilities if you join us?
- Design and implement data strategies aligned with business goals, assessing current infrastructure and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable data initiatives and insights.
- Define and enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Recommend and oversee adoption of data technologies and platforms, supporting scalable architectures and advanced analytics (AI, ML, predictive models).
- Partner with teams to interpret data, uncover trends, and foster data-driven decision-making.
- Promote data literacy, provide training, and support change management for adoption of new data practices and technologies.
There are some requirements that will make you stand out:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 10-12 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
- Expertise in developing comprehensive and actionable data strategies and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance standards, and data quality management.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and present complex data in a business-friendly manner.
- Proficiency with modern data platforms, tools, and big data ecosystems.
- Skilled in managing data-focused projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of advanced analytics techniques, including AI, machine learning, and predictive modelling.
