What would be your responsibilities if you join us?
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable data pipelines and ETL processes using relevant technologies.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of data warehouses.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of data through rigorous testing and validation.
- Work closely with Designers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to translate high-level requirements into detailed data architectures and designs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Data Engineering, and proactively apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes.
- Provide guidance and coaching to Data Engineers through code reviews and technical discussions.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the reliability and stability of data pipelines.
There are some requirements that will make you stand out:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, notebooks, workflows)
- Experience working with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse
- Experience with Python (Scala or Java is a plus)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and modern data architectures
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
- Familiarity with Apache Spark and distributed data processing
- Basic experience with Docker and containerized environments
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational data modeling
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data integrations
