We are on the lookout for a Delivery Director!
In this role you will lead, excel, and grow the Symphony client engagements, ensuring superb quality, excellent delivery, client satisfaction, and business growth. Reporting to the Senior Client Partner, you will drive excellence in delivery, business development, consulting, leadership, and governance.
What would be your responsibilities if you join us?
- Define and drive the strategic direction of software delivery, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee a portfolio of software and AI-enabled engagements, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality expectations.
- Develop and maintain portfolio-level plans, dashboards, schedules, and budgets, while proactively identifying risks and driving mitigation strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Delivery Managers and their teams, ensuring strong performance, effective resource allocation, and team readiness across engagements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, building trusted relationships and ensuring clear, timely communication of portfolio status, risks, and key updates.
- Ensure consistent delivery quality by implementing and monitoring QA processes, aligning outputs with contract requirements and industry best practices.
- Continuously optimize delivery processes and methodologies, promoting agile and lean practices to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Own the financial performance of the delivery portfolio, managing budgets and KPIs, and addressing any deviations in a timely manner.
- Drive business growth by expanding existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to strategic partnerships.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction by understanding client needs, proactively addressing feedback, and ensuring a high-quality delivery experience.
- Lead cross-portfolio improvement and strategic initiatives that enhance delivery capabilities, foster innovation, and drive greater business impact.
There are some requirements that will make you stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is considered a strong advantage.
- PMP certification or an equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in software development project and/or portfolio management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex software projects or portfolios on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated experience delivering AI or AI-enabled projects, with a solid understanding of AI development lifecycles, tooling, and the challenges of scaling AI initiatives across complex, multi-account environments.
