Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to be a crucial part of our Business Development team at Symphony. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to help us successfully close deals and deliver tailored products to our clients.
You will be integral to our team, collaborating closely with different streams within Symphony, and demonstrating technical expertise and a deep understanding of our clients' needs. Their specialty will be exceptional interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex technical landscapes.
As a Solutions Architect in Business Development, you will dive deep into client requirements, understand their pain points, and propose innovative technical solutions which you will effectively demonstrate with architecture diagrams that showcase the value of our digital solutions to clients. You will drive successful deal closures and build lasting connections with clients, ingraining confidence and trust in our technical capabilities.

What would be the main challenges you and your team would face?
New builds
- What is the pragmatic way of designing the system for the next 12 months?
- What elements of the system would you recommend buying and which ones to build?
Gen AI / ML / Data engineering
- How would you set up the next gen data platform in an enterprise ecosystem?
- What is the roadmap to set up a Gen AI workstream within my company?
- How could we leverage ML to address a specific business problem?
Modernizations
- How would you approach modernizing the frontend of a product that was built with Angular 1?
- How would you approach modernizing the backend of a product that was built as a single-tenant solution 15 years ago?
- How would you do a lift and shift from an on-premise to a cloud-based environment?
Ideal profile:
- Background in Software Engineering and IT Solutions, with a strong foundation in technical education and hands-on experience in leading the product development cycle
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively drive technical discovery processes and demonstrate consultative expertise
- Data-driven decision-making skills to provide effective solutions based on evidence and analysis
- Entrepreneurial mindset to align with the client’s mission and vision and adapt the approach accordingly
- Curiosity and creativity to deeply engage with clients, understanding their needs and challenges
- Strong stakeholder management skills to efficiently handle diverse needs, styles, and industries
- Ability to balance abstract thinking with a pragmatic approach, addressing both strategic vision and day-to-day issues
- Empathy and understanding of the softer aspects of client engagement to enhance relationships and experiences
