Swave Photonics is a fabless semiconductor company that designs and markets holographic chips based on proprietary diffractive photonics technology. Our mission is to enable display manufacturers and content creators to disrupt the visualization market with immersive ultra-high resolution, life-like, true holographic displays.

Role and responsibilities
With the Swave team you will create a new world where holographic displays give everyone the power to visualize the impossible, collaborate and accomplish more.

To support the growth of our activities, we’re opening a position of Chip Lead. As part of our IC Design team, you will be responsible for working together with both internal and external stakeholders and the coordination of the chip design process.

- You will lead the technical side of developing a mixed signal IC
- You will define and design the top level of the IC, specifying the digital/analog and liaising and controlling the sub system designers, including external partners. 
- You will be responsible for top level simulations using tools such as Cadence MMSIM 
- You will be responsible for the pad ring, ESD, and general integration of the top level, co-ordinating the layout and driving the tape out process.
- Your focus will be on product engineering and manufacturability.
- You will report to the VP IC Design.

Qualifications 
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics Engineering, or proven experience.
- You have at least 8 years of experience in a similar role. 
- You have a mixed-signal background with a thorough knowledge of analog circuits and an understanding of digital ones. 
- You will be capable of defining the Chip architecture, liaising with Marketing, customers and internal teams to address the chip requirements. 
- You’re familiar with semiconductor testing. You’re able to plan and execute according to tight schedules: you thrive in a fast-paced start-up context.  
- You’re a team player with good communication and coordination skills. 
- You have excellent professional command of English both spoken and written.
