We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineer with Python focus to join our team. You will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable and high-performing applications that meet our clients' needs.
Your day to day will include:
- Pioneering the development of stable and scalable Python backend applications from the ground up,
- Crafting code that adheres to the highest industry standards while ensuring seamless integration with our CI tools,
- Bringing an architectural perspective to the planning process,
- Collaborating with and supporting the work of our Tech Leads and Architects,
- Guiding and mentoring mid-level and junior developers to support their professional growth and providing technical guidance to the development team,
- Collaborating effectively within a dynamic team environment and engaging in exciting and cutting-edge tech initiatives.
We'd love to meet someone who:
- Has 3+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Python,
- Demonstrates proficiency in FastAPI, Flask or other web frameworks,
- Expert in writing production ready and reliable pythonic code.
- Possesses a strong understanding of database technologies (SQL or NoSQL),
- Holds experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services,
- Is passionate about writing clean code; if you're a fan of Uncle Bob, you're more than welcome!,
- Is open to learning other backend technologies such as Java, Kotlin, or Node.js,
- Exhibits a genuine interest in staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends,
- Brings expertise in containerization and Kubernetes (which would be a significant advantage),
- Has at least an intermediate level of English language skills is required, as our team operates internationally. Additionally, fluency in Hungarian is a must for this position.
