In this role, you will report directly to the Premium Retail Technical Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring the technical efficiency of our operations. Your expertise will help drive technical excellence throughout Samsung KX and our Premium Retail sites.

Key Responsibilities

    • Technical Operational Excellence:
    • Act as the first line of technical support for all Experiences at Samsung KX.
    • Oversee and execute the implementation of new Experiences and technical changes.
    • Support the creation and maintenance of the KX Operations Manual.
    • Assist the Events and Training Teams in delivering live events, including setup and execution.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and develop IoT systems and devices.
    • Assist with new installations or builds at various sites as needed.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance business performance and collaborate with others.

    • AVIT Systems Maintenance:
    • Oversee maintenance of Back of House and Front of House systems and devices (e.g., ZeeVee, Brightsign, Green Hippo, AMX).
    • Communicate with third-party contractors to ensure consistent technical support.
    • Act as the first point of contact for AV and IT hardware troubleshooting.
    • Keep records of system changes and updates via ticketing, emails, and handovers.

    • Health and Safety:
    • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and maintain compliance for all technical works.
    • Support the Technical Operations Manager in updating in-store risk assessments.
    • Assist with weekly Safety Culture H&S checks.

    • Team Development:
    • Support team observations and coaching, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
    • Train and upskill Technical Specialists for consistent support across locations.
    • Drive an inclusive work and team culture.

Who we are looking for:

    • Proficient in data analysis and processing.
    • Strong problem-solving skills for technical issues with Windows, Android, AV over IP, and retail/event equipment.
    • Adaptable to business needs and open to change.
    • Leadership qualities to inspire and coach the team with a shared vision.
    • Eager to learn and improve performance.
    • Preferred 3+ years of experience in technical support, with expertise in AV/IT hardware and software.
    • Experience with Samsung/IoT devices is a plus.

Role requirements:

    • Full-time, onsite role 5 days a week based in London, at Samsung KX.
    • Ability to work across multiple locations, including Harrods, Selfridges, and Samsung HQ.
    • Availability to work across all seven days of the week, including weekends and holidays.
    • Willingness to work outside of normal trading hours to meet business demands occasionally.
