Stellar Global is looking for a commercially focused Account Manager to support our client, Currys.

Overall purpose of the role:
You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day management and performance of the Currys account, building strong client relationships, leading retail teams and ensuring consistently high standards of operational delivery.

Working closely with Currys stakeholders, Stellar field teams and internal departments, you’ll drive KPI performance, support commercial growth and help deliver an excellent experience across the retail estate.

The role includes regular site visits to Currys stores, so a full driving licence and access to your own car are essential.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achieve KPI's and grow Stellar GP , adopt a commercial focus across your account

  • Assist with performance improvement plans across all KPIs and deliver to your performance manager and brand contacts 
  • Manage budgets effectively , create and complete relevant supporting documents to assist the payments of invoices and share these with your clients on a regular basis  

  • Build successful client relationships  

  • Host regular meetings with clients to update on actions, KPI performance, and topics to discuss to enhance the results we deliver. This will be through structured meetings and presentations and include insights from outside of their immediate business, using your knowledge from the retail landscape  
  • Deliver service & operational excellence, provide an optimal work environment for SES colleagues, with exceptional service delivery and driving them to succeed 

  • Conduct regular site visits to review service delivery, retail standards and operational excellence  
  • Optimize team performance, be the escalation point for any HR/ER issues/initiatives across your dedicated accounts, and find solutions where required

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in account management, retail, field marketing or a similar client-facing environment
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Experience working with retail KPIs and performance measures
  • Commercial awareness and a results-focused approach.
  • Experience leading, coaching or developing teams.
  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Interest in technology and innovation is desirable.
 

Driving requirements

Because this role involves regular travel to client and retail locations, you must have:

  • A full valid driving licence
  • Access to your own car
  • Appropriate business-use motor insurance

Approved business mileage is reimbursed at 55p per mile

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday ( 9am-5.30pm)
  • Permanent role ( 3 months probation period)
  • 28 days AL + Bank Holidays
  • 2 days per week to work in Stellar HQ, London Bridge area
  • Driving licence and own car needed
  • 55p/mile when driving on company business (must have relevant insurance)
  • Regular travel across the UK
