About the role
We are looking for a well-seasoned IT Manager to be part of the corporate team, reporting to the VP Finance. You will have a chance to be involved in making an impact on the business and contributing towards further growth. This is an exciting, versatile sole charge role covering all aspects of IT support, security, and compliance by working closely with our outsourced providers.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain, manage, and develop all aspects of the IT infrastructure for the UK and US
- Manage relationships and contracts with third-party vendors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and support and ensure they respond to requests and incidents within the agreed SLAs
- Procure new hardware, applications, or development resources as required, and able to negotiate appropriate contracts with a range of suppliers
- Manage the development, administration, and upgrade of all Microsoft and corporate approved third-party software applications Provide new starters with devices, accounts and applications along with the IT support, training, and orientation they need
- Running regular checks on network and data security
- Lead IT projects as needed e.g. Password management, SharePoint set up and management etc
- Ensure that the network, video conferencing, printing and other IT facilities within our offices are working correctly and organise troubleshooting or repair when necessary for IT equipment
- Assist in determining, documenting, and measuring performance against SLAs/KPI’s Implement, manage and control the IT Support budget for the organisation.
- Advise on organisation’s IT equipment, networking, and connectivity needs and control the purchase of equipment, software, and services;
- Define an IT roadmap to further the overall company strategy, including opportunities to enhance performance processes using technology
- Prioritise and monitor projects to align with business requirements and ensure an environment of continuous improvement is promoted Implement continued automation of IT Support processes, decreasing time required to complete existing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company security and data protection policies, ensuring all IT Support activities are performed in accordance with company policy.
- Be part of the SOC 2 audit process

Our Ideal Candidate
You will be someone with experience in owning all IT activities within a tech scale up with global employees.
It is important you have experience of all Microsoft Windows Enterprise technologies including Windows OS, Windows Server, Office 365, SharePoint, SQL Server and SRS Reporting Services, PowerBI, CRM, and Microsoft Teams.
You are someone who has experience in managing Azure Active Directory and configuring and working with the MacOS operating system.
We are are a SOC2 compliant company so having experience in managing this is so important to us and is a must have.
