Join Skaylink, part of Vodafone, where cloud expertise meets global scale. You'll manage and optimize secure VMware and Hyper-V platforms, improve data center infrastructure, and collaborate with expert teams on impactful IT projects.

This role is remote within Romania. If you are based in Cluj-Napoca, you also have the option to work from our office in a hybrid setup.

What you will do

Design, operate, and optimize Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere/ESXi clusters.
Plan and implement high-availability solutions and live migrations.
Analyze and optimize the capacity and performance of CPU, memory, storage, and network resources.
Perform maintenance, patching, and upgrades, and support infrastructure migrations and hardware refresh projects.
Analyze and resolve hypervisor-level issues with a focus on long-term stability.
Create and maintain documentation, standards, and runbooks.

When you fit in with us

Mandatory requirements:

5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server.
Strong expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi.
A good understanding of data center architectures, including SAN, storage, networking, and backup concepts.
Proficiency in PowerShell.
A structured, analytical approach to work, with the ability to remain solution-oriented when troubleshooting complex issues.
Fluency in English and German.
