Identity & Access Consultant – Okta & Auth0 (DACH Region) (m/f/d)
As an Identity & Access Consultant – Okta & Auth0, you will help leading organizations across the DACH region transform how they manage digital identities, access, and security. You’ll work on modern Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions that enable secure, seamless, and scalable access across cloud and hybrid environments.
You’ll be part of impactful identity transformation programs, working with cutting-edge platforms such as Okta, Auth0, and Microsoft Entra ID, alongside experienced architects and consultants in an international delivery environment.
This role is based in Romania, with flexible hybrid or remote work options.
Your responsibilities
- Design and deliver modern Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions for enterprise customers in the DACH region.
- Build scalable identity architectures based on Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), identity federation (SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0), and lifecycle management (joiner–mover–leaver processes).
- Integrate identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and LDAP into complex enterprise ecosystems.
- Contribute to migration projects from legacy IAM systems to modern cloud-based identity platforms.
- Automate identity and access processes, including provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and self-service access workflows.
- Participate in customer workshops, solution design sessions, and technical deep-dive discussions that shape real-world architectures.
- Collaborate with architects and consultants on large-scale international IAM transformation projects.
What you bring
Must-have skills:
- B2/C1 German and fluent English for customer-facing communication.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Okta Workforce Identity Cloud and/or Auth0 Customer Identity Cloud.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts: SSO, MFA, federation (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect), lifecycle management, and access control models.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and LDAP.
- Proven experience delivering IAM implementation or identity integration projects in enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach to solving complex problems.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
- Experience in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), or compliance-driven identity environments.
- Experience with advanced Microsoft Entra ID scenarios (Conditional Access, B2B/B2C, Identity Protection).
- Experience with API-based integrations and identity automation frameworks.
- Experience with Omada Identity Cloud or other IGA/IAM solutions.
- Interest in cloud security, Zero Trust architectures, and identity modernization.
