We are seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst for a 6-month contract assignment to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This role will focus on advanced compensation analysis, complex Excel-based modeling, and hands-on support for the implementation of a new compensation tool (Pave) or equity management system. The analyst will also help maintain ongoing compensation and equity programs during this period. 

This is a highly hands-on role suited for someone who is comfortable working independently, partnering closely with HR and Finance stakeholders, and managing detailed, time-sensitive work. 

What you will be doing


    • Compensation Analysis & Modeling 
    • Perform advanced compensation analysis using Excel, including complex formulas, modeling, validation checks, and scenario analysis   
    • Support market pricing, range analysis, and compa-ratio reviews as needed   
    • Prepare clear, accurate data outputs and summaries for HR and leadership partners   
    • Equity Program Support 
    • Support implementation activities for a new equity software platform, including data preparation, validation, testing, and troubleshooting   
    • Assist with ongoing equity program maintenance, including grant tracking, audit support, and reporting   
    • Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure accuracy and timely execution   
    • Program Maintenance & Operational Support 
    • Maintain day-to-day compensation and equity processes during the contract period   
    • Support documentation, process updates, and data integrity checks   
    • Respond to ad hoc compensation and equity-related requests as needed   

Wat we will require of you

    • 5+ years of experience in compensation or total rewards, with senior-level analytical responsibilities   
    • Advanced Excel skills required (complex formulas, nested functions, data validation, pivot tables, scenario modeling; macros a plus)   
    • Hands-on experience supporting equity programs (e.g., RSUs, stock options, or similar), including data management and reporting   
    • Experience supporting or participating in HR technology implementations, ideally equity or compensation systems   
    • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with sensitive data   
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment

What we hope you'll appreciate

    • Experience with compensation tools similar to Pave.  
    • Experience with equity administration platforms (e.g., Carta, Shareworks, E*TRADE, or similar)   
    • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools or survey data   
    • Experience partnering closely with Finance, Legal, and HR stakeholders   

Contract Details

    • 6-month contract assignment to cover leave   
    • 30 hours per week expected during the contract period   
    • No people management responsibilities   
    • Target dates May through October 2026
$80 - $110 an hour
