The Sales Director, EMEA, for Siteimprove, is in a leadership position for the management of high-performance sales within our EMEA market. The Sales Director, EMEA, drives sales and momentum for the sales team by mentoring and leading solutions across the EMEA.

What you will be doing

    • Directs, leads, and manages a high-performance sales team to ensure they are meeting performance expectations by executing targeted revenue goals and exceeding those goals in the emerging market
    • Manage and oversee key sales strategies to grow the business across the EMEA market
    • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships and assist in the closing of competitive sales
    • Maintain and manage weekly sales activity to include call activity, leads generated, close-ratio, demos completed, and revenue reports across all verticals in the EMEA within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and MS Excel
    • Effectively mentors the sales team to negotiate price, delivery, and warranty terms within established programs, policies, and procedures to generate profits and greater customer satisfaction
    • Manage and gather accurate sales data to assist in the forecasting within a CRM and communicate to the GM, Commercial EMEA along with other key stakeholders
    • Provide recommendations and best practices for emerging online marketing opportunities and tactics that assist in achieving Siteimprove organizational goals
    • Become a business expert by communicating the value of our products to aid in collaborative business partnerships with your team
    • Promote team’s personal development and recommend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
    • Assists in the development and creation of new sales and marketing ideas
    • Drive customer focus by understanding and listening to the customer perspective as it relates to their business decisions and activities
    • Attend meetings, conferences, and events
    • Responsible for performance reviews, hiring, and employee-related issues
    • Performs other related duties as assigned

What we will require of you

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, entrepreneurship, marketing, or related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
    • 8+ years of successfully leading a sales team or equivalent
    • Valid Passport

    • Previous experience leading a team to monthly, quarterly, and annual quota attainment
    • Monthly Forecasting accuracy of 85% or greater along with an ability to forecast within a CRM
    • Ability to mentor sales team on solution selling strategies
    • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment
    • Proficient in sales reporting activities and forecasting in a CRM system
    • Strategic partner, consultative, and technically adept
    • Experience starting up and building a sales team and department
    • Ability to collaborate and provide support to all levels and departments, including hiring and performance management 
Base pay will depend on the position, individual qualifications, market, and other operational business needs.
