The primary mission of the Corporate Counsel is to review and negotiate contracts and other related terms for commercial transactions. The role requires collaboration with other members of the global legal team, two of which sit in our Minneapolis office, to assist with contractual requirements ranging from the completion of certifications to the verification of business insurance coverage. This role will work closely with Sales, Partners, and our Customer Success teams.
What you will be doing
- Conduct contract reviews and participate in negotiation meetings with customers and procurement where needed.
- Manage the coordination and completion of the contract review and approval process, including working with subject matter experts from across the organization (e.g., Finance, Customer Support, Product, and Security) to facilitate their feedback and input to contracts and transactions
- Draft contracts, amendments, and process change forms from templates
- Research and analyze laws and regulations and draft legal memos
- Draft legal terms and conditions responding to business needs and company strategy
- Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers
- Partner with other members of the Legal team and other departments with special projects as needed
- Take initiative on legal projects and other related duties as assigned
What we will require of you
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited school
- Experience level of 1-3 years
- Valid passport
- Experience with software transactions
- Familiarity with information security and data privacy
- Travel as needed; may include weekends

$95,000 - $130,000 a year
The annual salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $130,000, based on experience and qualifications. The targeted annual salary for this role is $124,000.
