We are on an exciting transformation journey within SEB’s Trading Regulatory Reporting area. The distributed team today consists of skilled and dedicated persons based both in Stockholm and Riga. And we are now looking for a System Analyst who aspires to play a key part of our agile team and will be committed to develop the regulatory IT solutions for SEB and to shape the future of this IT team.
What you will be doing
As the scope of regulatory requirements and reporting is growing within the Financial Industry, SEB is taking an active approach to build the necessary infrastructure and secure talents that will work in a virtual team to deliver high quality reporting on behalf of our clients.
Your main responsibility will be to transform business requirements into IT requirement. As a System Analyst, you will be working closely with our IT Scrum teams and business stakeholders to create clear system specifications andthat will facilitate a smooth and high-quality delivery to meet all current and future regulatory reporting needs. The System Analyst role also includes problem and issue solving together with the IT maintenance team and collaboration with source systems within SEB Technology.

Who we are looking for
To succeed in this position, you should have a technical background, you need to be driven, structured, customer focused and have strong analytical skills. You are proactive and used to questioning and developing established ways of working to improve customer experience and efficiency.
Previous experience working with Trading products and/or Financial Regulatory Reporting is preferred.
We expect you to have great ability to work in a diverse team, find common ground within different cultures and you also must have good communication skills in English. We highly value your personality. You are positive, service minded and taking ownership comes naturally to you.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Understanding of software development processes (Agile, SAFe)
- Proficiency with recquirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Basic understanding of SQL, databases, APIs, and system architecture
- Proficiency in creating various document types
- Experience of functional and non-functional requirements
- Understanding of user stories and acceptance criteria
- Understanding of use cases and process flows
- Strong attention to detail and clarity in documentation
