Risk Department is part of the SEB Group Risk organization. Group Risk is a global and independent control function, whose overall purpose of is to understand the risk profile of SEB and to prevent SEB from taking excessive risk. The main responsibility for Group Risk is to identify, measure, monitor and analyze SEB's risks.
In an ever changing environment, geopolitical risk developments, introduction of new regulations and other - banks should ensure that its analyses, checks, and controls reflect foreseen as well as potentially unknown risks in their portfolios. We are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Officer at Risk Department, whose main responsibility would be on planning, coordinating and directly contributing to performance of various forward- and backward-looking analysis and deep-dives within credit risk area. In this role you will report to local Head of Risk Oversight however would have task coverage of all three Baltic countries.
Main responsibilities:
- Close monitoring of macroeconomic and bank internal profile to identify triggers for increase in credit and other types of risk, vulnerable sectors, etc. which need to be analysed.
- Plan and execute deliveries of various deep-dive analysis and reviews.
- Presentation of analyses results to the management bodies
- Coordinate input from other stakeholders to analysis.
- Gain deep understanding of the credit risk profile within the SEB Baltic Division and offer valuable insights and perspectives to both the Baltic Risk Oversight management and the wider organization.
- Facilitate cooperation within Risk Oversight team as well as across various other teams that should contribute to preparation of a holistic risk deep-dive review.
Your profile:
- A degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Experience in credit risk, industry analysis or risk management would be highly regarded.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization. Experience with e.g. SQL or Python would be considered as an advantage.
- Good cooperation skills as well as ability to take ownership.
- Ability to holistically understand events and explain it to management.
- Ability to plan work and prioritize.
- Great communication skills and fluency in English.

€4,100 - €6,100 a month
The final offer (before tax deduction) will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
