Investor Services is part of the division Corporate & Institutional Banking and a cornerstone of SEB’s offering to Financial Institutions and Banks. Investor Services Banks provides Cash and Sub Custody services to SEB’s Bank clients. We are the dominant sub custodian in the Nordic markets, with a critical role in the region’s post-trade securities services. We are recruiting a Product Manager.
About the role:
The Product Management team is currently composed of eight product managers based in Stockholm, two in Copenhagen, one in Helsinki and one in Oslo, as well as three product specialists all based in Stockholm. Your primary responsibility as Product Manager will be to work cross-products, focusing on market infrastructure. You will work closely with the head of Product Management and your colleagues in the team, primarily the Product Manager and Specialist for Securities Settlement.
The role includes the following:
• Support the head of Product Management with monitoring and influencing cross-product market infrastructure changes, primarily in Sweden but also in the other three Nordic markets
• Support the Product Manager for Sub Custody Settlement with the upcoming settlement-related changes to market infrastructure
• Work with other members of the Sub Custody Tribe, from Technology, Operations and Investor Services Banks, on a cross-product delivery to our Sub Custody clients
• Participate in relevant external and internal groups and initiatives related to Sub Custody and market infrastructure changes
You will be located in Stockholm (Arenastaden in Solna) and report to the head of Investor Services Banks Product Management.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
• Multiple years of experience of working with post-trade services, preferably custody or other services to international banks, in one or more of the Nordic markets
• A flexible, service-oriented, delivery-focused mindset, and are comfortable with a collaborative and iterative development approach, working with both Tech and business staff
• The ability to be the driver of your own initiatives and also support others in theirs
• Experience with agile IT development
• Good communication skills, both verbally and in written form in English and Swedish
