A very important task in the NCL project is to build a new Cash pool solution from scratch and that is what this team is doing. The work started 6 months ago, and the team consists of 9 very qualified team players in roles of developers, tech leads, architects, project manager and requirements specialists. The team works in a true agile way delivering continuously.

In the role as Java or Frontend developer at SEB and Core Ledger, you are offered the opportunity to thrive as a software engineer being in a modern organization with a high rate of change. You will be part of and contribute to a unique top prioritized journey of change where you and your team are responsible for building a completely new Nordic Cash pool solution.

We work in a pragmatic, iterative process focused on the delivery of working software. We lean on modern concepts of continuous integration, testing and deployment to enable rapid development and a fail-fast mindset without compromising quality.  

As part of this role, you’ll work on building Java services based on the Ports and Adapters architectural pattern. The technology stack includes: 

Tech Stack: Java 21, Quarkus, Server-Side Templating (Qute, HTML, CSS, JavaScript), SQL (Not JPA/ORM), Open Telemetry, Maven.

Software Deployment: Docker, Sonarqube, Prometheus, Grafana, GCP (Artifactory, Compute, Cloud Run, CloudSQL/Postgres, PubSub).

For the Frontend role, your focus will be on developing dynamic web applications using modern frameworks and tools.

Develop dynamic web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS, leveraging microfrontend architectures for modularity. Ensure code robustness with unit, component, and E2E automation tests. Collaborate across teams to deliver seamless user experiences, conduct code reviews, and adopt modern trends and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Jest, Cypress, ESLint, Prettier, VSCode). Strong communication, API integration, and agile development skills are essential. Familiarity with microfrontend architectures is a plus.

• Experience in some or all the above-mentioned technologies. 

• At least 5 years as a professional developer.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a drive to find the best solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
