I&CA is a global unit providing state-of-the-art credit analysis of clients in support of SEB’s credit business. Our analysts cover counterparts across a wide range of sectors stretching from asset-based businesses through to corporates and financial institutions. We are now looking to add a team member to the Energy team.

As a Credit Analyst within I&CA unit, you will be working alongside SEB’s client teams with the evaluation of clients in the corporate banking as well as structured finance areas. The role involves evaluation of our clients’ business model from the perspective of your industry expertise, financial modelling to evaluate repayment capacity, the authoring of credit opinions and presentation of these to decision makers and credit committees across the bank. Other tasks involve conducting industry reviews, and broader ESG and climate transition risk evaluations.

We seek applicants from various backgrounds and seniority levels, however practical experience from financial analysis within the corporate space is a clear advantage, as is Energy sector knowledge. We believe that candidates come with a strong academic record from a relevant area such as accounting, finance, engineering, or similar, and some work experience from either equity or credit analysis, financial due diligence, valuation or corporate financing.

To succeed in the role, you come with a curious mindset, sharp analytical senses, great collaboration skills and a general interest in financial markets. You value an open and dynamic workplace where you to look to contribute with a positive and inclusive mindset. You communicate efficiently in speech and writing with strong proficiency in English as well as Swedish. You are comfortable working in a demanding environment in a role that requires high personal integrity, the ability to work under pressure and sometimes towards tight deadlines.
