Our Tribe provides technical platforms and services for the bank's application developers. Our technical platforms are Mainframe and IBMi, and we serve a large part of the bank's services. The department consists of nine technical teams that are specialized in different technical areas and functions such as infrastructure, automation, transactions, databases etc. The teams are responsible for the maintenance and life cycle management for their products. You will be part of a team of five colleagues specialized in project management and Compliance & Risk Management.
About the role:
As a Project Manager, you will play a central role in planning, executing, and completing projects within strict timelines. Your work will be crucial in ensuring our projects meet their goals and deliver high-quality results. The complexity of project management often arises from the need to coordinate activities beyond our Tribe.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of project managing dependencies and risk efficiently
- Securing the right prioritisation, coordinating the project’s progress and proactively identify and address impediments to ensure delivery
- Lead and interact with stakeholders, vendors, and partners
- Collaborate with project sponsors and eventually the projects steering committee
- Utilise agile frameworks to guide and coach teams to achieve their full potential
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects, ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive consensus
- Understanding and application of Scaled agile principles and practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills, can inspire, motivate teams and build your own network
- IT background, preferably mainframe
