Are you ready to shape the future of finance and contribute to a more sustainable world? At SEB, you don’t just take a job — you join a movement. A movement that empowers people, businesses, and entire industries to grow responsibly and boldly. With more than 1.5 million customers across the Baltics, SEB is a driving force behind economic progress — and you can be part of it.

Become a key member of our Project Finance team, where we build long‑lasting relationships with the leading financial sponsors and support their strategic financial decisions. Here, your analytical talent and curiosity will directly influence high‑impact transactions across Lithuania and beyond. As a part of a lean, highly specialized unit, your work will significantly drive the organization‘s top and bottom lines. You will be an essential driver of deals that shape the future of the Baltic region.

About the role

You  will be central to our strategic growth, scaling a Project Financing Portfolio that includes Leverage Finance, Fund Financing, PPP projects, Infrastructure, and Renewables transactions. By originating and executing high-value, long-term projects, you will drive business growth through advanced financial analysis and cross-functional leadership. Given the unique complexity of these transactions, we are looking for a dedicated specialist whose Project Finance expertise sets them apart from general corporate banking.

This role requires deep specialized knowledge and a proven track record in complex financing structures. As SEB strategically expands its Project Finance business, we require an expert capable of navigating sophisticated structuring, rigorous risk assessment, and precise deal execution.

What you will do:

    • Grow and support relationships with major financial sponsors, working hand‑in‑hand with the Head of Project Finance and Advisory to coordinate and execute structured finance transactions in Lithuania
    • Dive deep into complex deals — support structuring, review documentation, and participate in negotiations with external stakeholders
    • Perform high‑quality financial analysis, prepare credit materials and ensure strong analytical input to SEB’s credit committees.
    • Identify risks and opportunities, bring structuring recommendations, and ensure that every transaction aligns with SEB’s governance and credit standards
    • Prepare and review key transaction documents, including LMA‑based agreements, ensuring full compliance with internal and regulatory frameworks
    • Collaborate widely — you will work closely with product experts, risk teams, support functions, and colleagues across SEB’s international network
    • This role is perfect if you enjoy learning, building partnerships, and getting involved in deals that shape the Baltic business landscape

We believe you will thrive with us if you have:

    • A strong commitment to professional integrity and client service
    • A sharp analytical mindset and experience in project finance sector. Corporate finance, accounting or audit experience is also an advantage
    • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate clearly with both internal and external partners
    • Experience in structured finance, infrastructure finance, PPPs, leveraged finance, fund finance or other complex transaction environments
    • A university degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
    • Fluent and structured communication skills in Lithuanian and English
    • Most importantly — you are curious, driven, and ready to grow

What we offer:

    • A highly supportive team focused on delivering world‑class service to our clients
    • The chance to work on some of the largest and most complex corporate finance transactions in the Baltic region
    • A broad professional network and numerous internal career paths, both locally and internationally
    • Access to extensive learning — training, coaching, mentoring, global networking, and development programs shaped for your long‑term success
    • When you join SEB, you join a workplace that invests deeply in your growth and well‑being. You'll work in a culture that values diversity, collaboration, and bold thinking. Your ideas will matter — and your growth will be our shared priority.
