About the role:
As part of Baltic Finance Shared Services Centre (BFSSC) team you will give your contribution to ensure efficient accounting processes according to given quality standards, work processes and deadlines.
Our BFSSC team as one integrated cross-company team consisting of highly skilled finance professionals will ensure an effective service through delivering aligned, consistent and timely accounting and reporting processing in a simplified and automatized manner across the Baltic countries.
In your role you will be leading accounting team in Lithuania, take the responsibility of the local team delivery assuring high quality execution of internal accounting tasks by securing efficient daily processes, period end activities and collaboration with stakeholders, providing the expertise and taking into consideration all relevant risk.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing of all aspects of local internal accounting function, securing overall control of processes, managing time and prioritizing activities of the team
- Keeping the expertise of the accounting and tax matters within the scope of internal accounting area
- Applying process, professional and business knowledge for handling processes, making rational judgement from available information utilizing analysis and taking decisions independently
- Ensuring sufficient quality and timeliness of own and team activities
- Perform month end closing activities related to internal accounting
- Maintaining internal organizational documents, procedures and instructions
- Managing issue solving in aligned way on Baltics, engaging other team members to contribute and act in aligned way
- Participating in projects related to financial accounting and accounting systems, other improvements and efficiency initiatives within Baltics
- Assuring implementation of strategic initiatives, supporting changes in organization and alignment activities
- Supporting and collaborating with internal stakeholders in accounting matters
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- University degree (most preferable economics / finance / accounting)
- At least 4 years of experience in accounting, tax or audit
- Experience in leading full-cycle accounting teams
- Extensive understanding of legal and regulatory framework for accounting and taxes, basic knowledge of IFRS
- Knowledge in using accounting software (preferably global)
- Advanced computer skills (including MS Excel)
- Very good communication and cooperation skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Proactive, positive and open-minded mindset
- Fluency in Lithuanian and good spoken and written English skills
- Ability to work productively in a high pressure environment
- Ability to adopt to changing environment

€3,000 - €4,600 a month
The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
