SEB has been present in London since 1964 and the UK was designated a core market in 2017. SEB UK provides corporate and financial institution clients with a full wholesale banking offering, as well as being a pioneer in the green energy space. Some of the main services SEB UK offers include Financing; FX and commodities; Equity Sales; Cash Management; Debt Capital Markets. Currently we are around 115 employees based at our centrally located office in London, opposite St Paul’s.
We are looking for an Intern to Loan Syndication & Sales (“LSS) in London. LSS is part of Debt Capital Markets & Leveraged Finance in the Corporate & Investment Banking division. We are a team of c.120 employees located in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany and the UK.
The Loan Syndicate & Sales is a specialist team within Debt Capital Markets responsible for execution, marketing and sales of syndicated loan and other loan transactions for corporates, private equity and project and infrastructure finance clients to financial institutions and credit investors. The work is project driven and the LSS team is an integral part of the entire transaction chain from pitching to structuring and execution where we work in close collaboration with our coverage and deal origination teams.
Today the LSS team comprises of 7 executives based in London and Stockholm to secure best possible access to market intelligence through our bank and investor network. We have a strong team culture and a customer centric approach with a commitment to quality and trust in everything we do.
The London LSS team currently consists of 3 executives that work with clients and transactions across all SEB’s home markets. This six-month off cycle internship is expected to start at the beginning of October 2026.

Who are you?
We are looking for an individual who is ambitious, dedicated and willing to learn. You are studying or have a recent degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering from a top-tier university and possess a sharp analytical mind-set and a genuine interest in business and finance. We are looking for a service-minded individual with a team-player attitude, who acts proactively and shows a strong sense of responsibility. In addition, we believe you have high attention to detail and a good ability to plan and prioritise your work. You will need to have permission to work full time in the UK and have strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
