About the role:
Group Internal Audit (GIA) is an independent unit that reports directly to SEB’s Board of Directors via the Audit and Compliance Committee. The purpose of the function is to evaluate and give assurance to the Board and the President that governance, risk management and internal control processes as designed and represented by management are adequate and effective and support the business objectives. The department consists of around 80 professionals that utilise a common global methodology and audit tool.

As an Internal Auditor you will be responsible for:
· Contributing to the completion of the Annual Audit Plan by independently execute audit assignments in main areas of competence and participate in assignments in other areas.
· Actively participate in writing audit reports and ensure proper anchoring of identified issues, in 1st as well as 2nd line of defence, which are later followed-up to ensure that risk mitigated.

To thrive in this role we expect:
· You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant Banking experience (lending, payments, advisory or fraud prevention) or worked minimum 4 years as an auditor within Financial Services.
· You have strong understanding of risks and analytical skills to evaluate areas of risk.
· You are curious and self-driven with high energy and enthusiasm as well as having the willingness to take ownership in a self-disciplined way and in team assignments.
· You have the ability to see the big picture while still keep an eye on the details.
· You should be an excellent communicator (report writing and presentation skills) with the ability to build trust and professional relationships.
· It is preferred if you have skills to perform data analytics of large data sources.
· Applicable university degree and fluency in Swedish and English are required.
