About the role 

As a .NET Developer, you'll join an agile team responsible for some of SEB's most business-critical payment reporting solutions. Our applications support high payment volumes and provide essential reporting capabilities across the bank. 

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of established banking systems and modern technology. You'll help modernize and evolve our payment reporting platforms while ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance expected from critical financial infrastructure. 

You'll work across a diverse technology landscape that includes .NET, SQL Server, SEB's container platform, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Together, we are transforming how reporting solutions are built and operated, enabling faster delivery, increased scalability, and improved customer value. 

In this role, you will: 

• Design, develop, and maintain business-critical payment reporting solutions 

• Contribute to the modernization of applications and services across on-premises and cloud environments 

• Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions 

• Optimize application performance and database workloads 

• Take ownership of solutions throughout their lifecycle, from development to production 

• Participate in shaping technical direction, architecture, and best practices within the team 

To thrive in this role, we believe you have 

• Strong development experience in .NET, C#, and preferably VB.NET 

• Experience working with high-volume, business-critical applications 

• Strong SQL skills, including performance tuning and query optimization 

• A structured and analytical approach to problem-solving 

• The ability to work independently and take ownership of your deliveries 

• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and develop 
   

It's a plus if you also have experience with: 

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms 

• Container-based platforms and modern deployment practices 

• Financial systems, payments, or reporting solutions
