We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Officer at Baltic Regulatory Affairs Office, responsible for enhancing regulatory watch process and being involved in other regulatory related activities across the three SEB Baltic banks, in the light of growing internal demands and increased regulatory scrutiny.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordination and development of effective Regulatory Watch process to ensure timely implementation of regulatory requirements applicable to SEB banks in the Baltics
- Monitoring of EU and local regulatory changes as well as new local legislative initiatives
- Supporting first line business and other related units on impact assessment of regulatory changes
- Follow-up on progress of regulatory changes implementation by the first line business units, status reporting to the relevant bodies
- Support in remediation of regulatory and internal audit findings, provision of regulatory excellence expertise when responding to supervisory queries
- Involvement in different regulatory projects
- Interaction with external and internal stakeholders (locally and on Group level)
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Academic degree in Law, finance, economics or equivalent
- Solid background in EU banking and financial services regulatory framework
- At least 5 years of experience in a bank or other financial institution, law firm, banking/financial services regulator
- Experience working with requirements in the investment services, payments, AML/CFT/Sanctions is an advantage
- Project management skills and ability to oversee complex regulatory projects
- Ability to drive the process and process changes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international environment
- Excellent English language skills (written and oral)

€3,600 - €5,400 a month
(before tax deduction). The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
