About the role:
As a Finance Regulatory Reporting Policies Expert at SEB, you’ll be part of Baltic Finance Statutory & Regulatory Excellence team.
Mission of Finance Statutory & Regulatory Excellence team in SEB Baltics is to secure compliance of Finance statutory & regulatory reports in SEB Baltic banking groups and be the trustworthy partner for external and internal stakeholders (auditors, regulators, internal organization) in Finance excellence topics.
We provide dedicated support to SEB Baltics in implementing new regulatory requirements within the financial reporting domain, offering expert guidance and contributing valuable knowledge to internal projects and developments. Additionally, we ensure robust risk management and control frameworks are effectively maintained within the Finance function.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Applying broad perspective view and professional expertise to identify impacts on Finance Statutory & Regulatory reporting coming from new regulations, new processes/transactions, other internal initiatives. Connecting and bridging different laws and regulations, assessing impact and needed changes in reports
- Following up and addressing ESG requirements within Finance Statutory and Regulatory reporting, building new processes together with our experienced team
- Ensuring timely implementation of new regulatory requirements and being internal speaking partner on Baltic level for regulatory initiatives & changes, including setting requirements for development of reports
- Keeping internal and external stakeholder management and advisory regarding statutory and regulatory reporting
- Coordinating mandatory external audit topics and annual report preparations process, being the main local contact for external audit company during the audit process
- Writing and updating finance internal policies and instructions, coordinating necessary approvals with internal stakeholders within Baltics and with SEB Group
- Ensuring qualitative & effective reporting processes by setting adequate internal controls and risk management framework
- Owning and coordinating topics within agreed pan-Baltic responsibility areas
- Coordinating preparation of regulatory reporting area related ad-hoc requests and tasks received from EU or local regulator
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Higher education in finance or economics, mathematics or business management
- At least 4 years’ experience in the field of financial/regulatory reporting or audit
- Good understanding of reporting regulations and/or IFRS, regulatory expectations & landscape, impact to statutory and regulatory reports
- Good understanding of banking business, products, processes, experience in capital adequacy areas would be a benefit (alternatively, strong willingness to learn it);
- Proven coordination, communication and negotiation skills with ability to cooperate with people at all levels and to deliver within short deadlines
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking capabilities, ability to see big picture and dig into details, when needed
- Structured way of working, ensuring keeping tasks performed in line with deadlines
- High degree of issue and problem solving
- Fluency in spoken and written English

The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.

Monthly salary range for this position: EUR 3650-5200 (before tax deduction).
