We are looking for a team player with strong analytical and communication skills. Capability to support/establish processes is also key since new regulations and regulatory updates continue to have an impact on financial industry and its participants.
You will bring a good understanding of regulatory requirements and have a key role in securing adherence to regulations by performing Client Due Diligence tasks. You will execute financial markets client onboarding and gradually expand your scope into full client lifecycle management in respect of client regulatory data and trading documentation. The role requires work with international teams and clients.

Your responsibilities

    • Responsibility to carry out MIFID II/Dodd-Frank/EMIR/SFTR and other product regulatory onboarding tasks with high quality
    • Full understanding and analysis of the client structure and background in regard to its business with SEB
    • Performing and enhancement of structured client data and documentation controls as well as relevant reconciliation projects
    • Communication directly with the client and the client teams
    • Responsibility for analyzing, participating and presenting regulatory compliance matters in relevant committees
    • Escalation of exceptional cases or concerns
    • Supporting colleagues and acting as a subject matter expert in regulatory related questions towards the client teams and other stakeholders
    • Performing tasks in accordance with set processes and work instructions
    • Building a strong risk management culture

Our requirements

    • Minimum 2 years of practical knowledge/work experience in financial services and markets regulations especially MIFID II, EMIR or Dodd Frank
    • University degree in banking & finance, law or relevant experience in the industry
    • Good understanding of different fund structures
    • Utmost attention to details and excellent analytical ability
    • Good communication and collaboration skills
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Strong risk mindset and ability to establish new processes
    • Project management
    • Passion about providing excellent customer service internally as well as externally   
    • Working in accordance with set processes and procedures
    • Fluency in English – both verbal and written (C1/C2)
    • Strong MS Excel skills
