Explore the professional world more deeply and join the 1st line Risk Management Team, a reliable and proactive partner to risk owners, acting as a strong competence center in risk-related matters, providing advisory and forward-looking guidance, and ensuring robust risk data and monitoring practices, to promote SEB’ s risk culture for long-term success.
In this role, you will become an integral part of the high performing Baltic Risk Management team.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Support business units in identifying and mitigating risks, assessing their impact, developing mitigation measures, and monitoring the effectiveness of implemented controls;
- Support business units in implementing and using risk management tools, provide risk analysis of business unit activities, trends, incidents and KRIs;
- Assist business units in conducting risk assessment processes and developing business continuity plans;
- Organize necessary trainings for business units to promote a strong risk culture and sustainable risk‑return thinking;
- Develop risk management function processes;
- Drive risk related strategic initiatives and lead/participate in risk related projects;
- Facilitate cooperation across the SEB Baltics and Group, coordinate with risk owners and other stakeholders to integrate risks awareness into daily activities;
- Collaborate with the Control and Audit functions to design and refine methodologies and tools for measuring and monitoring risks
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Previous experience in risk management and/or in financial and banking industry is seen as preference, or genuine interest in risk management area;
- A higher degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, or a closely related quantitative field;
- Proactive mindset with the ability to drive improvements and lead initiatives;
- Ability to coordinate and motivate stakeholders to contribute to a common goal, and to take responsibility;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ownership mindset;
- Great communication skills and fluency in Estonian and English.

€3,500 - €6,000 a month
The exact amount of salary after completion of the recruitment period will be offered to the selected candidate taking into consideration his/her work experience and competencies.
