What you will be doing
 
As a key member of the Country management team the CFO will report to the Country Manager and have a strategic role in supporting the development of our business in Norway, in line with SEB`s vision, strategy and objectives. The CFO will also report to Group CFO and the CFO within Large Corporate & Financial Institutions.
 
As Country CFO you will follow up on results and financial position of SEB for all reporting units in the geography and proactively review the financial performance to enable the business to achieve its targets.
 
You will be responsible for external financial reporting to local markets and authorities, and secure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations and regulatory requirements. You will also be monitoring internal controls over the financial reporting, drive and continuously develop the financial steering framework in the geography in close co-operation with the Group.
 
Who we are looking for
 
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of relevant experience, including solid leadership skills with the ambition to develop and empower people in the organization.
 
Further you need strong business acumen and a genuine interest in developing our business and working with financial steering and governance. Solid understanding and previous exposure to different business areas, treasury, and risk related issues is key to succeed in the role.
 
With a highly strategic view, strong analytical skill-set and entrepreneurial attitude you will drive our effort to grow the business. Networking comes natural to you, and you have great interpersonal skills. Confident and professional communication and presentation abilities is also expected. Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language is required.
