SEB has been present in London since 1964 and the UK was designated a core market in 2017. SEB UK provides corporate and financial institution clients with a full wholesale banking offering, as well as being a pioneer in the green energy space.  Some of the main services SEB UK offers include Financing; FX and commodities; Equity Sales; Cash Management; Debt Capital Markets. Currently we are around 115 employees based at our centrally located office in London, opposite St Paul’s.

We are looking for an Intern to join the Loans Agency team in London. Loans Agency is part of Debt Capital Markets & Leveraged Finance in the Corporate & Investment Banking division. We are a team of c.120 employees located in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany and the UK.

Loans Agency is a specialist team within Debt Capital Markets responsible for transaction management both as facility and security agent and lender for the syndicated loan product for corporates, project and infrastructure finance, leverage finance, shipping and fund financing. The Loans Agency team is an integral part of the entire transaction chain from execution where we work in close collaboration with our coverage and deal origination teams through to the ongoing transaction management of a deal once closed.

Today the agency team comprises of 10 executives based in London. We have a strong team culture and a customer centric approach with a commitment to quality and trust in everything we do. 

This six-month internship is expected to start in the middle of August 2026.

Who are you? 

We are looking for an individual who is ambitious, dedicated and willing to learn. You are studying or have a recent degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering from a top-tier university and possess a sharp analytical mind-set and a genuine interest in business and finance. We are looking for a service-minded individual with a team-player attitude, who acts proactively and shows a strong sense of responsibility. In addition, we believe you have high attention to detail and a good ability to plan and prioritise your work. You will need to have permission to work full time in the UK and have strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
